The Tomato Hornworm [Friday August 24th 2007 @ 7:28pm] Aka Tobacco Hornworm. The children and I found him in our tomato plant fattening himself up. They named him Jessie. Later on we found another one, who is now known as Jessica. Now we have Jessie and Jessica in a new home, still munching on fresh and organically grown tomato leaves/fruits, and given extra love and care. We plan to watch them turn to moths, and I hope it works out well. The horn is on their bottoms by the way, and their poop looks like blueberries. hello sunshine
